On 18 October 2018, the principal investigator of the University of Ljubljana’s team Dr Rok Zupančič presented the project RePAST at the 8th Belgrade Security Forum – one of the most vibrant regional initiatives in the Balkans that brings together more than 800 people from Europe and aims to create a relevant policy venue that will contribute to the development of a security community in the region. Under the title ‘Finding Answers together to the New Normal’, this year’s edition of the Belgrade Security forum was dedicated to the state of ‘’new normal’’ in international relations.

Dr. Zupančič presented RePAST at the academic panel entitled ‘Methods, Career and Networking cafe’. As in previous years, this academic event serves as an innovative type of conference session led by scholars aimed at engaging participants in informal and unstructured yet focused discussions about research methods and academic network-building. The promising scholars (MA and PhD students from the region) expressed a profound interest in the ‘RePAST topics’ related to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo in particular.
